After being raised DEEPLY involved in church (like co-op homeschool at church, 6 days a week, Pastors Kid, mission trips, armor bearer, spirit-filled, A.C.E. Paces, “non-denominational” type church), I spent 25 years in human service roles- from running out of school programs to being CEO of a multi-million dollar group home agency.
When I went independent with my career, I embraced my 20+ year relationship with cannabis and began working to break stigmas and create access to credible, reliable information about using cannabis for wellness.
Over time, I could not ignore the giant issue of the use of cannabis prohibition to enact the New Jim Crow on Black America and the enormous lack of representation of those most harmed by those policies (and also most experienced and qualified) in the current cannabis “industry” and ownership.
One of the major side effects of embracing my personal relationship with cannabis was sacrificing many of the relationships I had leaned on and learning to lean on my most important relationship with Source. I finally met my real self and wow. ❤️
That journey led me to create The Hart Habits to share how I learned to move through these giant transitions and other difficult relationship challenges with grace & love that keeps me at peace.
