Bio

Ozell Graham was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1986 he moved to Marston, Mo. After graduating from NMCC in 1992 Ozell joined the US Army as a Motor Transport Operator a year later. During his 8 years of service, Ozell did a couple deployments in Bosnia in support of Operation Joint Endeavor/ Guard. Ozell starting cutting hair to help fellow soldiers cope with being away from home and their love ones. Being the go to guy for a fresh haircut Ozell wanted to be more than just Graham cutting hair, he saw more and wanted to create a brand and that’s when him and a fellow soldier doodled with words and came up with the name The Fade Shop! After nine years of hard work, diligent determination, and an unswerving faith in God, Ozell opened his first location in Dallas, TX in 2005. To date he owns and operates 2 successful barbershops throughout the Dallas Metroplex, providing job opportunities to barbers and stylist as well as The Fade Shop AIT(Advanced Industry Training) Facility in McKinney, Texas. Ozell has a passion for people and the hair industry in 2017 he created AT Ease Hair and Skin Care a product line design to help maintain healthy hair and skin. Ozell served his country honorably and has a obligation to serve his community committing to annually sponsoring Back To School Events, Mentoring Programs" giving free haircuts, school supplies, Feeding and Clothing the Homeless, along with an Annual Turkey Giveaway in his hometown in Missouri feeding hundreds of underprivileged families. Beyond what they do in the community, with Ozell’s leadership the team at The Fade Shop have achieved national recognition to include five consecutive nominations and winning in 2008 the Steve Harvey Hoodie Award, a brand new SUV in 2009 with the Ford "Flex Your Style" Beat Barbershop Competition, the Reader's Choice Award, Dallas WFAA-ALIST Award, and was the feature barbershop on the globally syndicated reality TV show "Split Ends". Growing up in a small town Ozell Dreamed big, his dedication and commitment to his community and profession has led him to work with some of the worlds top Actors and Athletes like Blair Underwood, Common, Nelly, Ludacris, Tony Dorsett, John Wall, Allen Iverson, Roy Williams, Tony Rock, Lavelle Crawford and many more.
