“A 17 year old girl walked into a movie theater on Valentine’s Day but she didn’t walk out.

🙏🏽This would be the first time (out of four) that I would go paralyzed. I’ve gone paralyzed 4 different times; twice from the waist down & twice from the neck down. Each time doctors told me “this could be the one you don’t come back from.. you may never walk again” ...“Don’t get my hopes up” ... clearly they didn’t realize that I’m the Queen of the Bounce Back. I refuse to be told what I can and can not do, especially when it comes to my ability to succeed. If life knocks me down, you can bet I’m getting back up.. and I’m not going down without a fight. I have been battling Multiple Sclerosis (amongst other ailments) for 15 years now and, like life, it doesn’t get easier, you just get stronger. It doesn’t matter how many times you fall or get knocked down, as long as you don’t stay there. Pain is inevitable, Suffering is optional. Life is what you make it. & take it from me, it’s all about the Bounce Back” -NikkiPavi QOTBB
