I’m a photographer and filmmaker based out of the Missouri Ozarks and New Orleans. Visit www.bobbythompson.com for all the info or to just say hello.

I’ve worked with hundreds of clients including Red Bull, Kate Spade, Capitol Records, ESPN, Hawaiian Tropic, and The Weather Channel. I’ve also filmed/photographed many musicians including Willie Nelson, Dr. John, Fats Domino, Chris LeDoux, Prince, Christina Aguilera, Art Neville, and Katy Perry.

Guest lectured at the Maine Media Workshops, Rockport College, University of Missouri - Kansas City, University of Kentucky, University of Central Missouri.

I’ve been on panels or conducted workshops at film festivals including Slamdance, Oxford MS Film Festival, Kansas City Film Fest, and Temecula International Film and Music Festival. I was also involved as a senior programmer for many years and served on the jury at several festivals. I’ve had films play in numerous festivals including Cleveland International, Kansas City Jubilee, SENE Fest, and Outdoor Cinema.
