If one book makes you an author, I encourage you to put pen to paper and read what you have to say, instead of hiding trauma, unhappiness, or even fantastic life experiences. Don’t worry about grammar or spelling, just write your words in a way that satisfies you. You can learn and grow when you see your experiences in print.
The United Black Writers Association Inc. helps you to release and share your life story with one print book. This usually lifts self-esteem, puts your thoughts into perspective, and may encourage you to find an editor for many more books. Then others can learn and grow from your words.
