Black University is a 501c3 art collective & think tank dedicated to producing new mythologies around the words Black and Darkness. Critical to this is a conceptualization of the Black American Slaves giving birth, collectively, to the creative force of America. Keeping alive the, as yet unrealized, dream of society built on inalienable humanity. This We consciousness has yet to be incorporated in American TV and Film, which instead promotes the delusion of rugged individualism.
