We don’t have to go back to Africa to be an African People. We ARE “Africa”. Malcolm X once used the analogy of a cat having kittens in an oven... “If a cat has kittens in an oven”, he said, “that don’t make ’em biscuits”. It doesn’t matter how many generations of cats are born in the oven and it doesn’t matter how many generations of Africans are born in America; we are still Africans. We are our own ethnic stock: American-Africans.

Reparations without Separation is like a glove without a hand.. It matters not how many pearls they owe us if we are only going to cast them back to the Swine! Reparations only works when we build a Nation where our money can circulate. Only when we produce our own needs will reparations benefit us as a people. Otherwise, our so called “reparations” will only benefit the American capitalist.

Africa is whereever we are. The term “Africa” stems from “Afri-ca” where the “ca” means “land of” and the “Afri” were a people of the continent now called Africa. Africa was called Africa because of the people and has nothing to do with the terrain. While some of us want to go back to the Motherland and set up a new homeland on fertile land with an outlet to the sea, some of us will wish to stay on the land that our forefathers built, on a separate territory of our own, with an outlet to the sea. We will be dual citizens.
