Carlos Mdemu is a community mobilization expert working from grassroots level in helping people pursuing sustainable livelihood, capacitating and empowering them into tapping opportunities on improvement of environmental management and reducing pollution, through education and actions that create a sense of ownership and citizenship responsibility on environmental conservation.

With seven years of experience in project management and community mobilization on environmental conservation issues working with various organization such as Environmental Conservation Community of Tanzania, Nipe Fagio and Mazingira Konekti Limited which focuses on environmental conservation advocacy, particularly in waste management.

Currently am working as environmental conservation consultant, focusing on promoting urban resilience, Climate change advocacy, best waste practices (zero waste) and supporting capacity building for community based organization, civil society organization and social enterprise working on environmental sustainability from grass root level.
