Bio

Oklahoma City based full time Photographer and Video Producer.

The 2 sides to my professional life are working in higher ed full time as a video producer, and running my side hustle as a photographer/videographer.

I started a small video production company in 2009, Slow Fade Media, with a focus on non-profits and ministries. Over the years my focus shifted to wedding videography.
When video shifted to DSLR, I began dabbling in photography, and recently have made that my primary focus. Though I am primarily a photographer now, I still shoot video for a few weddings a year, as well as a few ministry and non-profit gigs.

Higher Ed
When I am not working the side hustle, I work full time for The University of Central Oklahoma, in Edmond, OK. Though my official title is Instructional Technologist, my main role is Video Production for online learning. I make up half of the eStudio team under the Center for eLearning and Connected Environments, or CeCE (CC) as we call it.
We have a goal of helping faculty of online courses use more video to help engage there students more deeply than they can with text based learning alone, and strive to find innovative ways to do that.
