The Community-Based Clinical Cannabis Research & Evaluation Network (CBCCERN) is now an affiliate of the IPA and their Compassion Clinic Network. We are implementing the observational study of patients starting plant-based Rx's for pain, opioid use disorders, PTSD & depression. This database will permit comparison of cannabinoid & psychedelic Rx eith FDA-approved therapies, thus contributing harm reduction interventions to ending the opioid OD epidemic.

Board certified in Psychiatry, Addiction & Cannabinoid Medicine. Co-founder of 1st gay community-based clinic, the Howard Brown Clinic of Chicago, led first Hep B vaccine trials & founding PI of the Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study (the MACS), the largest & still ongoing study of the natural and treated history of HIV.
