Bio

Former outdoor professional keeping a “summer camp” mentality.

I’m a Cali girl in the woods of the UP. Homesteading, supporting women & entrepreneurship, building (inclusive) communities, volleying (2 jobs+a business+parenthood), and learning to love snow. Also a virtual a school parent.

Moved to a dreamy place in the woods from CO three years ago. My husband opened a BBQ restaurant and I’m reinventing my career and supporting our kiddos (5 & 2 yo boys). Feel lucky as 40-something “old mom” to have a transferable skills prior to kiddos and moving to a small area w/limited opportunities. Was the Chief Outdoor Program Officer for Girl Scouts of Colorado, a team development facilitator, a high ropes course director, a camp director, and surf camp counselor. Always gravitated towards start ups and entrepreneurial environments.

Passions: female entrepreneurship, play based education, community & cannabis activism, good food, and dairy/gluten free eating.
