I am a graduate student at Vanderbilt University's Peabody College studying Human Development Counseling with a concentration in school counseling. Upon graduation in May 2021, I plan to remain in Nashville and work as a school counselor. I hope to highlight the importance of mental health in urban communities and reduce negative stereotypes.
I have always had a passion for children and have worked with them in a variety of settings including schools, churches, and nonprofit organizations. My interests include adverse childhood experiences, mental health in urban communities, and college access for low income students. I am seeking exciting opportunities in mental health and school settings.
