Bio

I have SO many hobbies, but my current main ones are:

- Language: Japanese, German, English grammar, and linguistics.
- Circus arts: aerial straps, silks, trapeze, lyra (aerial hoop), and chain (yes, they are real metal chains).
- BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) and Krav Maga.
- Spiders…identification, anatomy, etc.
- Sewing. I’ve been sewing for about 25 years and mostly make apparel (usually workout tops and aerial costumes).

Other things about me:

- It usually takes me a long time to get comfortable speaking in a new group. So please know that if I am quiet but sticking around, I am still having a good time listening!
- Native language: English (US). I live in Tennessee but am from Illinois (but not Chicago).
- I have an MA in Translation, a BS in Nuclear Engineering Technology, and an AAS in Nursing.
- I have an incredible husband and two ridiculously adorable dogs (a pit and a mastiff). 👩‍❤️‍👨🐕‍🦺🦮
