I worked at one of the nation’s highest-ranking insurance companies for over 26 ½ years until I was led to start a family owned business in the North Tulsa community where my focus has been on economic stability and growth.  In addition, I served on the City of Tulsa FEC (Financial Empowerment Center) Board and the North Tulsa Community Coalition Board, which is affiliated with the Tulsa Health Department.  My roles and responsibilities of leadership are incredibly diverse; serving on one of many organizations, such as Tulsa Exchange Group, INCOG Innovative Community Transportation Solutions workgroup, Tulsa C.A.N. (Create Access to Nutrition), City of Tulsa Food Desert Taskforce, Tulsa City Library Books & Bikes annual event, Community Voice for Change Action Forum, US Census volunteer and Phoenix District community volunteer, to name a few. 

In 2020, I launched a high-quality natural hair wig and weave business called Beautiful You.  Beautiful You was birth out of the low season of my life when I was dealing with menopausal weight gain and hair loss.  During this time the Lord had me lean more into the inner essence of myself; pushing me toward the beautify within me.
