Writing thrillers and historical fiction I published my first novel and narrated the audiobook in 2006.

Both my acting and my writing are lived a lot of what they contain. The backdrop for my storytelling started with my birth in rural interior Alaska followed by my school years among the Ohio cornfields where I wished to be anywhere else as long as it was exciting. I’ve lived in Alaska, San Diego, DC, Baltimore, and Ohio. I tried a career in the Marines but after injuries sent him home early I couldn’t figure out what to do next. I’ve worked at the NSA, owned a computer shop, was a carpenter, farmer, actor, lumberjack, voice actor, EMT, network admin, helpdesk supervisor, Boy Scout leader, IT trainer, radio talk host, youth minister, and was a sergeant in the Alaska Defense Force Coastal Scouts.
Until a ski injury in 2008 I had been an avid weight lifter and could bench press 420 lbs. Now I’m limited to hefting a laptop and the occasional pint of Guinness.
Memberships: I have served on the Board of Directors for the Alaska Writer’s Guild, am a member of the Military Writer’s Society of America International Thriller Writers (ITW), and for many years was a regular contributing editor to ITW’s THE BIG THRILL Magazine.
I live in Anchorage Alaska with with my Porsche driving Korean wife and Heimdall the Norse Dog, 5 lbs of Viking Furry!
