I stumbled in the front door and fell to the ground, splitting my lip. There was blood all over the kitchen floor.

I was drunk. 🤢

When you go to award ceremonies and win trophies for your work, it’s supposed to be fulfilling.

This is what all the hard work is for, they say...

But I was miserable. 🦊

Working for myself and my own merit was just….exhausting.

Not awesome.

That was a moment that knew I needed to get back to my calling. Back to my roots. My faith tells me to serve others. (Philippians 2:3)

To care about the impact I have on my neighbor, my community, my world.
