A Bahamian at birth Mr. Atreaeu Davis built his stage name “BahaMian Trae” around the foundations of his culture and local dialect. He is a world-class recording artist. On January 12, 2015, Trae released a video on Facebook with a song he wrote on the Bam Bam Riddim “ Muggle Like Me “. The Facebook Video was seen among his school peers in the Bahamas. By the end of that month, practically everyone in the Bahamian school system knew the song word for word. Charlie Brown and DJ Reality saw a performance he did at his former highschool (Charles W. Saunders Baptist School) and reached out to Atreaeu. They motivated Trae to take the next step towards music as a career. Charlie Brown & Reality talked about Exile Media Group and what the whole objective was and eventually, Trae had agreed to come on board and learn the process of recording better-quality music in a recording studio. BahaMian Trae’s entire life shifted after this point. The first single was a local success on the airwaves along with tracks like “ GONE “ feat Charlie Brown & “ BahaMian Story “. The teen went on to work with Bahamian legends K.B and the late Ronnie Butler. In his primal years in the music industry, Trae has been nominated for the People’s Choice Award at the 17th Annual Cacique Awards and also, made an intoxicating performance at the Bahamian ICON awards where he was also nominated for the Rising Star Award. Coming into his last year in Highschool Trae recorded songs such as “ Money Pull Up “, “ Too Young “ featuring Wendi & Ian Davis and also a gospel track called “ Praise Him “ featuring Najie Dun & Davian Chase all produced by Charlie Brown. BahaMian Trae has opened up for artists such as Migos, Alkaline, Christopher Martin & much more! In April 2019, BahaMian Trae made his decision to leave Exile to become an independent artist to pursue his dreams on his own where he is now working with producers locally and internationally as he is destined to keep on striving to accomplish his goals in the entertainment business by representing himself and the people of his country to the best of his ability. 🇧🇸
