After attempting several different career paths, Hazel Ro finally embraced and began following her passion and God-given talent by making her debut as a Fiction Romance Author and Entrepreneur. Her love for writing started at an early age when she found release in journaling her thoughts. She built her own little"world" by drawing from her vivid imagination and creativity.
However, never in a million years did Hazel Ro imagine her writing manifesting into her first published project under Mr. Carl Weber and Urban Books. Her novel I Didn’t Think You Existed is scheduled to be released July 2021 and will be the first release of subsequent works to come. It's story line uses an entertaining, yet effective way of dealing with "real" life issues such as cheating and adultery, betrayal, lies, broken relationships, spirituality, and so much more. Hazel Ro’s ultimate objective through this first piece and others is to promote and encourage healthy African American relationships which she believes starts with first loving yourself.
Aside from writing novels, Hazel Ro is passionate about anything of the arts. She co-produced her first stage play, For Better for For Worse, in 2012 and loves music, poetry and singing.
Hazel Ro is a proud graduate of Lindenwood University where She earned her MA in Mass Communications. She obtained her BA in Sports and Entertainment Management from Fontbonne University.
The author is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but found her home in Chicago, IL since April 2015. She is happily living life to the fullest!
