Multi-disciplinary artist

I’m a self-taught multi-disciplinary artist hailing from the capital of the South Pacific, Auckland, New Zealand. My venture into the visual arts began in my city’s graffiti scene during the early 90’s. I organised Auckland’s first graffiti festival (Disrupt The System 2000 -2005) and have set up multiple gallery spaces (Disrupt Gallery, Gallery With No Name and Studio 40). I’m one of the founders of New Zealand’s first graffiti magazine (Disrupt Magazine) and author of the book (InForm: New Zealand Graffiti Artists Discuss Their Work) showcasing New Zealand graffiti art. From 2010 onwards I evolved to include a studio and mural practise exhibiting and creating large scale work internationally. I’m interested in finding the balance between analogue and digital processes, exploring new technologies, video making and animation. Between 2010 and 2020 I directed 35 music videos.
