Mike is an Investor in, (Co-)Founder of and Advisory Consultant to a wide range of both early stage and established enterprises across many sectors in the UK.

He is a business angel, and advisor with strategic involvement in more than a dozen impact and early stage businesses across innovative housing technologies, breakthrough medical diagnosis technologies, healthcare and life science, energy, Artificial Intelligence, recruitment, robotics and data science, and in support of gender-diverse business leadership and investment. Mike continues to act as a technical advisor to Energy projects and markets, was a founder member of the Brent Index Advisory Committee for the Intercontinental Exchange, and Parliamentary All Party Group for Energy Studies.

An active speaker and media commentator with a global profile, he has guested in recent years on Russia’s RBC Business News channel, China’s CCTV News channels, Sky TV News primetime ‘Live at 5’ evening news, Channel News Asia, CNBC Asia’s ‘Squawk box’, BBC TV’s ‘Working Lunch’ and BBC World Service Radio news, as well as numerous speaking engagements across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
