I started B.T.R. Bar in honor of my parents whose mantra was “Be BOLD, TENACIOUS & RESILIENT” aka B.T.R. When my parents got diagnosed with rare forms of cancer, and I became their primary caretaker, I took to the kitchen to help improve our nutrition.

I started making no-added sugar protein bites packed with superfoods & adaptogens to keep us fueled and energized throughout the long days. That’s how B.T.R. Bar was born, as a simple idea in a hospital cafeteria.
