Dr. Ashkan Nabavi-Pelesaraei was born on 22 September 1990 in Tehran/Iran, received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Mechanization Engineering from the University of Guilan, University of Tabriz and University of Tehran, Iran, in 2012, 2014 and 2018, respectively. He is "Assistant Professor of Biosystems Engineering at Razi University" in Kermanshah, Iran. His name is also listed on the "World,s Top 2% Scientists Report (Stanford University)". Dr. Nabavi-Pelesaraei has published over 85 publications in journals such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews (Impact Factor: 16.799); Applied Energy (Impact Factor: 11.446); Journal of Cleaner Production (Impact Factor: 11.072), Sicence of the Total Environment (Impact Factor: 10.753), etc. (Citations: >3260, h-index: 36, i10 index: 47; October 2022). He is on the Editorial Board of Data in Brief (Elsevier) and Sustainability (MDPI). Moreover, he has been working as a reviewer in more than 85 peer-review journals in Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, etc. Ashkan has successfully supervised/co-supervised over 15 Ph.D. and M.Sc. students. His main research interests are life cycle assessment, energy, biofuels, waste management, sustainability, and life cycle cost analysis of Agri-Food and biosystems sector.
