Iβve spent more than 28 years in government human services. Iβve worked as a government employee in both Child Welfare and Medicaid and held executive roles with market leading technology and consulting firms. π©πΌβπ»
I also lived in government subsidized housing and got free lunches as a kid. Raised by a single mom we stood in line for commodity food.
And as an adult weβve fostered an amazing young woman. π§
Itβs for all of them I push the envelope...

π our daughter who came to us through the CW system
π my best friend who sat single and pregnant in a gloomy DHS office filling out 16 poorly aligned copied pages of blurred words and unknown terms and personal questions about her sex life just to get medical coverage for her unborn child
