Turned in the suit for sweatpants

Actually I never wore a suit to work.
I’m not an influencer, guru, connector, hustler, trapper, or a 5, 6, 7, 8 figure whatever.
I just do different things and sometimes good things happen.
Sometimes when I write words, people make money.
Not here for fame, but if you’re looking for some free game, here it is:
- your only goal when writing is getting the reader to read the next sentence. That’s it!
- If you run multiple businesses and none of them make seven figures, consider putting your focus on one of them and either outsourcing or selling the rest.
- the amount of time you’ll spend in follow groups will be better used creating content or working on your skills
- look into project management if you’re an entrepreneur or someone who likes working on different projects. This knowledge will suit you well.
- if you’re an entrepreneur, you don’t need followers, you need clients
- there is no such thing as passive income without massive capital investment
- if you have a business and a website, create blog articles, capture emails, create an account with an email marketing software, publish blogs on your website and as part of your email campaign, use parts of your blog as individual social media posts, repurpose your content and always, always, always, capture ask for emails
- one of the most legit ways to generate an income online is learning how to design simple websites using WordPress, searching trends and keywords, creating niche websites and generating content, setting up Adsense/Affiliate partnerships like Amazon, and working on that until it turns a consistent monthly revenue. You can decide to keep it after six months or sell it for a minimum of 10x your monthly revenue (it’s usually more of a 20-30x)
To elaborate on my last point, your worst case scenario is ending up with a website and the experience of building one and executing on content and SEO strategy.
Copywriting changed my life.
Based in Toronto, Canada for now...
P.S. do me a favour and change your smoke alarm battery if it’s beeping
