I started painting murals while traveling abroad. After falling in love with this artform, Ive continued to paint murals as a living alongside my studio practice.
Recently, my art practice has evolved as I learn more about Filipino History, Spiritulity, learn more about the different FilAm experiences, and learn Cebuano as Ive been trying to nourish my sense of identity. This is bringing in Visayan Batok patterns (I am of Visayan Descent), new mark marking, and motifs that reference this research.
