Everyone wants to carry the Anointing but are they willing to suffer for it. The anointing comes through spiritual warfare. Great pain, suffering, trials, and affliction. Joseph was hated by his brothers, sold, separated from his family for 14 years, and cast into prison wrongfully before he was promoted to be the governor of Egypt. Abraham who was known as the father of many nations had to endure the shame of being childless for 100 years and He was a man of faith. Daniel had to sit in a den a night with hungry lions. David was in the wilderness for 14 years being pursued by Saul before he took the throne as king. John the Baptist lived in the wilderness and he was hated by the religious masses, as he prepared the way for Christ, and John was beheaded. Stephen was stoned to death for the testimony of the Lord. The Anointing does not come cheap, Christ says if you want to reign with Him you have to suffer. If you are not willing to suffer or die for Christ you don't qualify to carry the oil of the anointing.
