From the Latin root, ‘Derrick,’ ‘meaning leader of men,’ and the Greek, meaning ‘crane;’ ap. Derrick V. Henderson has been chosen to set up, establish and root out the gifts and callings in the people of God so that their foundations can be established and rooted in Christ, and fortified and empowered by His Word. We celebrate God in who He has given us in the gift of Dr. Henderson. Dr. Henderson is an Affirmed Apostle by Dr. Roman of A.P.P.M.I. (2001) for over 10 years and was Consecrated to the Episcopacy in 2009.
Dr. Henderson is married to pr. Lisa Henderson, servant, and steward of Sacrifice of Praise Dance Ministries. Together, they have two children, Joshua, and Princess; and reside in Newburgh, NY. Dr. Henderson received Bachelors's from Friends World College and his Masters from Kings College both in NY. Dr. Henderson received his Doctorate in Divinity in January 2009 from Jackson-Davis Bible College & Seminary located in Los Lobos, California. He currently founded and heads another work called The Prophets Cave in which stems not only the ministry but a Bible College called The Academy of Prophetic Arts.
