ANJIN Profile

ANJIN is a Buddhist nun. She is a founder and a chief priest of “Ryuan Temple”, in Kobe, Japan, offering counselling sessions and retreats since 1990.
She is also a permanent director of “Kobe Peace Institute” since July 2017.
Her wish to preserve and transmit syncretism of Buddhism and Shintoism of Japan is reflected on numbers of her Traditional Shinto ( Kannagara no michi ) performance, “Voice Ceremony”*.


School Formation:

Obtained Bachelor of Art majoring in Exotic Buddhism from Shingon-shu Shugei Shuchiin College, 1990.
