A Dominican Washington Heights native, I love my hood, I rep my hood to the most. My work has always been rooted in activism within the arts, to community organizing within my hood and constantly fighting for social justice for mi gente.
I am also the founder of Dominican Writers Assoc. a 501 c3 Non Profit based out of Washington Heights, NYC. DWA was created to offer more visibility to Dominican American authors. Working steadfastly to bring our authors the recognition they deserve in a publishing world that was not created for them.
