Travelled the globe as documentary producer-director for BBC, Channel 4 (UK) and other broadcasters. Specialising in high risk and hostile environments—but always happy to go somewhere pretty and quiet to film the wildlife.
Biggest passion: family. Husband, and father to one miraculous being. Met my Polish wife by chance listening to an Arabic storyteller in Damascus, Syria.
Studied sciences, then took a left turn into telly and stayed there. True thing: Once made a programme called Dentists From Hell.
Documented many tales of oppression and marginalisation of peoples and groups: now finally taking a closer look at the Assyrians, my own people. Refugees in the family.
