Vive e lavora tra Lugano e Milano.

Laureato in design del prodotto industriale all'Istituto Europeo di Design a Milano, intraprende subito una carriera improntata sulla comunicazione e le arti visive.

Il lavoro di Andrea Crespi si sviluppa nella continua indagine di diverse tematiche tra cui illusione ottica, trasformazioni sociali, rivoluzione digitale, materializzandosi in una interpretazione di cambiamenti culturali del contemporaneo che lo vedono spesso coinvolto in diverse iniziative di beneficenza e solidarietà.

La ricerca di Crespi individua nell’arte uno strumento di percezione ed analisi del vero attraverso una ricerca di bellezza, manifestandosi talvolta in un suo ritratto intimo, personale ed erotico.

I soggetti proposti spesso ripensano icone culturali in funzione di una narrazione plurima della realtà che ci circonda.
Sfruttando la fluidità del ricordo, ogni opera si ridefinisce attraverso il filtro della contemporaneità, rendendosi testimone del nostro tempo.

Lives and works between Lugano and Milan.

Graduated in industrial product design at the European Institute of Design in Milan (IED), he focused his career on communication and visual arts.

Andrea Crespi is a visual artist whose work develops in the continuous investigation of different media and themes including optical illusion, social transformation, the digital revolution, materializing in the interpretation of contemporary cultural changes that often see him involved in various charity and solidarity initiatives.

Crespi’s research identifies art as an instrument of perception and analysis of truth through a search for beauty, sometimes manifesting itself in an intimate, personal and erotic portrait of it.

The proposed subjects often rethink cultural icons in function of a multiple narration of the reality that surrounds us. By harnessing the fluidity of memory, each work redefines itself through the filter of contemporaneity, thus becoming a witness to our time.
