My name is Anaissa, I am a fourth year PhD Candidate in Neuroscience from Arizona State University.
I am originally from Mexico and I moved to the U.S. as an international student 9 years ago. My current research focuses on the study of physical activity, behavior and neuromodulation. I love what I do – however, my passion goes beyond the lab. To me being a scientist is about communicating science in a way that is fun and that reflects the importance of scientific research.
