💥 My Personal & Professional Philosophy 💥

I'm a former SANE program director and violence prevention is my passion. I 100% believe that people (readers) are picking up ideas, perspectives, and assumptions about real life in the fiction they read. My goal is to present complex issues like sexual assault, human trafficking, domestic violence, and substance abuse in a way that will help to build understanding and empathy for individuals in our community who are dealing with these issues. As a fiction author,, I feel a responsibility to portray events and the ripples they cause in communities as accurately and realistically as possible.
