Growing up high risk for breast cancer with a BRC1+ mutation I always knew it could be me one day.
Feeling called to serve, in 2012 I became an 𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 & 𝗟𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘀𝘁 focusing on breast cancer recovery.
With my own diagnosis & treatment in 2017 I realized 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, & 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿. 𝘕𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘠𝘖𝘜 𝘛𝘖𝘖 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱.
