During the pandemic I made a shift to a vegan diet motivated by health and wellness goals. Since making this transition, I have become committed to helping others successfully, easily, and enthusiastically integrate plant-based foods into their lifestyle.
I am proof that food is medicine and a vegan diet can be a prescription. I was diagnosed in November of 2019 with type2 diabetes at a critical A1c of 14.4 and average blood sugar levels of 423. As of April ‘21 my A1c is down to 8.3 and average blood sugar is down to 123. I am here to help others understand you can continue enjoying a passionate relationship with food as a plant-based/vegan.
The entrepreneur in me immediately asked “what can I do the help others in the journey?” My solution was to create an instant, vegetable-based, dairy free, no oil added food line to offer easy alternatives to the oil packed vegan foods on the market.
