Amon worked as poetry editor for the Florida Review literary journal and the Cypress Dome literary magazine. Graduating with a degree in English and creative writing, she went on to serve as editor for the Peace Corps Indonesia newsletter.
Outside of running seasonal erotic open mics and open mic pop ups, she has featured for Get Loud Movement, Nous Tous art gallery and Sad Bitch Poetry Collective. Her poetry has been published in Another Way Round literary journal and A Teenagers Guide to Feminism. Additionally, she is the founder of Poetplug, a multi-continental open mic event board on Instagram.

Catch her on any given night at an open mic speaking truth, but usually on the steps of Da Poetry Lounge hyping up her poet squad.
