🔆Other Alycat accomplishments include being selected as a featured author at the 2016 Louisiana Library Association Conference, the 2017 Southern Festival of Books, the 2017 and 2018 Louisiana Book Festival, Lafayette Public Library Fall Featured Author, and selected to ride alongside the Alycat mascot in the Sonic Christmas Parade for the past two years.

🌟Alysson is an active SCBWI member and Goodreads author and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a law degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge. Now as a full-time author, Alysson travels across the nation with the Alycat mascot to bring joy and smiles to others through literature.

When not promoting Alycat, Alysson helps other authors with their marketing and publicity with her co-founded PR firm, Foreword Publicity.
