30-year Commercial Real Estate Structured Finance career- I raise capital (debt and equity) and provide expert advisory services on properties (all types) that are in transition. From underwriting, cash flow analysis, entitlement, construction, JV negotiations, creative capital stack solutions, etc with $2Billion+ under my belt in closings. Spent 16 years as a non-recourse portfolio lender with Oaktree Capital (this cycle) and Fremont Investment and Loan (last cycle), workouts during downturn with US Bank managing $300 million portfolio of non-performing Loans, Whitehall Fund (Goldman Sachs) during RTC days and Arthur Anderson & Co (Real Estate Valuation Services) in the early 90’s. I bring all of this to current platform services as a capital advisor- SVP with George Smith Partners.
