Alessandro Corina on Clubhouse

Bio

Alessandro Corina is an interior and product designer; his headquarters are based in Grosseto.

After graduating in 2014 at L.a.b.a. (Free Academy of Fine Arts) in Florence, Alessandro moves to London, with the intention to study the emerging trends. He decides to come back in Italy in 2015 and to open is own studio. He immediately begins to collaborate with institutions, unversities, companies and private clients, simultaneously dealing with product design, design consulting and interior design.

In 2018 his Home Studio is selected among the best projects within the competition ‘Best Italian Interior Design’ held by Platform. It is also exhibited both at the Milan Triennale and in the United Staes during the Archweek event in Miami.

In 2019 Evergreen sofa, designed by Alessandro for Gobbo Salotti, is chosen fro the layout of the eight edition of Master Chef Italia.

His design is an emotional and aesthetic one, he wants to amaze and empathize with the interlocutor. His objects convey a strong sensory impact and touch the soul.

The choice of color, the study of textures and shapes are of basic importance in the creative process.

Since 2018 he has been designing wallpapers for the Italian brand Creative Space; since 2020 he creates textile products for Sitap, an internationally renowned company.

In all these projects the strong bond with Mother Nature shines trough and ancestral, powerful images recur, aiming to rediscover true humanity.

Alessandro strongly believes that design is also a social tool; in February 2020 he was selected among two thousand entrepreneurs and economist under 35 to partecipate in Economy of Francesco, a world wide event wanted by the Pope finalized to plan a more fraternal and sustainable economy.

He collaborated as a set designer for the preparation of the video clip ‘Un’altra estate’ by the singer and song writer Diodato, winner of the 2020 Sanremo Festival.
