Began his professional career since 2000 in Mexico as a production assistant in the feature film MUERTE EN TEPOZTLAN and as Director of Photography in the long documentary TLAYACAPAN LA PASIÓN.

In 2003 he travels to Venezuela where he directed the Photography in various commercials and TV shows. In Panama he directed a short documentary for the shipping company MAERSK. In 2009 he returned to Colombia, where he dedicated himself to directing photography in documentary and serial projects for the television channels Señal Colombia and Win Sports.

As director, he directed "La Bahía de la Cruz" short film winner of the new stories award from the Ministry of Culture in 2017. In 2019 directed the feature documentary "Granada: Relato de un perdón", official selection of the International Film Festival for Human Rights. He made the Direction of Photography and Executive Production of the Short Film "Chakero" official selection of the short films category of the 60th edition (2020) of the FICCI and the BIARRITZ festival.

He is currently finishing the post-production of his second feature documentary "Piel de Carbón".
