She is a former College Business Chair and is currently a University Professor teaching the art of Business and Marketing.
*She wrote the first college textbook on “Social Media Marketing” through Pearson Education, which included workbooks to help business professionals utilize the networks.

Receiving her undergraduate degree from Grambling State University where she was initiated through the Delta Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and an active member of the Covington Area Alumnae Chapter. She also has obtained her Certification in Paralegal Studies, Masters in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, and Ph.D. work in Leadership and Organizational Management. Alana has always served in leadership positions and looked out for the best interest of those she has managed. She has also managed multi-million-dollar budgets and employees with major corporations.

Fun Facts about Alana:

Alana is a phenomenal vocalist who sings professionally with corporate bands and has her own band performing in the Atlanta metro area. She received various vocal music performance scholarships singing, opera; holding up to her middle name, “Leontine.” She was the lead vocalist for Louisiana’s District IX honor chorus. She holds over 25 crowns as a beauty pageant queen winner, where pageants paid
