Ahmed is a member of Raya Holding for Financial Investments (RAYA) Executive Management team, and Heads the Investment, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Capital Budgeting and Investor Relations Departments, and sits on the BoD of many of Raya’s subsidiaries. Raya is a leading MENA Investment conglomerate with 2 companies under its management being listed on The Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX). Prior to Raya, Ahmed was Obour Land for Food Industries’ (OLFI.CA) Director Head of Investor Relations, Investments & Corporate Finance, in which he spearheaded the company’s EGP2 billion IPO, and helped securing over EGP1 billion ST & LT funding. Prior to that, he was Palm Hills Developments’ SAE (PHDC.CA) Investor Relations & Business Development Manager, a leading Egyptian real-estate developer listed on EGX & LSE, in which he managed various investment & capital market transactions with a combined size of over EGP6 billion. Prior to PHDC, Ahmed was a Senior Investment Banker in Financial Advice Corporate Transactions Co. (FACT), a boutique Investment Bank, where he engaged in various M&A transactions in a multitude of sectors/industries. Prior to that he served as a Senior Credit Risk Officer in the National Bank of Abu Dhabi’s (NBAD) Risk Management Department, the largest bank in UAE, and rated MENA’s safest bank, working on analyzing and approving credit facilities for large corporate clients operating in the MENA region. Prior to NBAD, he worked in the Corporate Banking Department in the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the largest Egyptian Private Bank, handling relationship management and credit facilities for large corporate clients. Ahmed started his career as a Financial Analyst in HSA Holding Group (HSA), the renowned FMCG Conglomerate.

Ahmed has a BBA majoring Accounting & Finance with distinction from both Misr International University & Heilbronn University in Germany, and an MBA from the University of Toledo, Ohio, USA.
