♻️ He is former Head of Public Affairs for FTSE 250 Pennon Group, one of the largest environmental infrastructure groups in the UK and former Head of Media Relations & Public Affairs for the Group's resources and renewable energy arm, Viridor.
☎️ He was a former Chair of the Mobile Operators Association (MOA) in Scotland, National Government and Community Relations Manager for France Telecom's Orange and Public Affairs Manager at one of the UK's largest independent PR agencies, PPS Group.
🇪🇺 With over twenty years experience in politics, public affairs, media and community relations, Martin has worked with some of Europe’s largest communications agencies and led communications programmes on a broad range of national projects for a plethora of FTSE 100 companies in Westminster, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast and across the UK and Europe.
🎓 Focused on strategy, planning and delivery supporting business objectives, Martin graduated from the University of Glasgow, Caledonian Business School. He studied on the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership 's 'Prince of Wales's Business & Sustainability Programme' and on the inaugural University of Stirling Management School / University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership's 'Sustainability Leadership Development Programme'.
🚹 He is a Member of the Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR), Member of the Public Relations Consultants Association (MPRCA) and a former Chartered Wastes Manager at the Member of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM).
📹 An experienced public affairs, public relations and sustainability communicator, Martin is a Guardian trained digital journalist and copywriter. He is a trained Gallup Q12 engagement champion and 'Leading the Business' practitioner.
