Bio

Aditya, son of Smt Vidya Khandwe, a performing Hindustani Classical Vocalist, was exposed to classical music from his childhood. He got his initial training from his mother. He then came under the guidance of Late Pt. Ratnakar Pai for training in Jaipur Gayaki since the age of 13. He has also received training in Gwalior Gayaki from Late Pt. Yeshwantbua Joshi. Lastly, he took advanced training in Jaipur Gayaki from Late Ganyogini Pandita Dhondutai Kulkarni. Currently he is learning from Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar

Major Achievements:
▪️Received ‘Ustad Bismillah Khan Award’ awarded by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi.
▪️Graded artist of All India Radio in the A Grade category.
▪️Received “Pt. Ramkrishnabua Vaze Puraskar – 2014” conferred by Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Pune.
▪️Recipient of “Sangeet Shiromani Puraskar - 2012” conferred by Shanmukhanand Sabha, Mumbai
▪️Recipient of “Pt. Mallikarjun Mansoor Yuva Puraskar – 2011” Dharwad awarded by the Govt. of Karnataka.
▪️He has a commercial CD released under “Rising Stars“by Sonic Octaves and “Dharohar” by Red Ribbon Entertainment.
▪️Vocal numbers in Recharge Plus Fusion Music Album of Smt Anuradha Pal.
▪️Recipient of Gyana Pravah - Kolkata Scholarship for 2009.
▪️Recipient of “SURMANI” title conferred by Sur Singar Samsad, Mumbai in 2008.
▪️Winner of Acharya Vishwanath Dev Sarma Art Foundation, Vedic Heritage Inc competition 2006 in Classical Vocal held at New York USA.
