Bio

Abol Froushan has pursued a hybrid career in poetry, translation and criticism on the one hand and digital technology architecture on the other, living and working in London. He has a PhD from Imperial College of London and has worked on simulation of chemical reactors and nuclear accidents before developing a career in helping corporations become digital in depth.

Abol is the Iran Editor of Poetry International Web, and has been the chair of Exiled Writers Ink, UK.  Two selections of Abol’s poetry have been published: A Language Against Language (English) 2008 by EWI and the bilingual volume, I need your desert for my sneeze (in Persian & English) in 2009 by PoetryPub.
Other publications include English translations of Ali Abdolrezaei: No one says yes twice, (2012) by London Skool.

Abol Froushan writes poetry of phenomenal presence and fresh vision, recording the sudden and re-examining archetypes and universals in microscopic detail.
