ॐ श्री परमात्मने नमः |
oṁ śrī paramātmane namaḥ

**तस्य सञ्जनयन्हर्षं कुरुवृद्ध: पितामह: |
सिंहनादं विनद्योच्चै: शङ्खं दध्मौ प्रतापवान् || 12||
tasya sañjanayan harṣaṁ kuru-vṛiddhaḥ pitāmahaḥ
siṁha-nādaṁ vinadyoccaiḥ śhaṅkhaṁ dadhmau pratāpavān

तस्य सञ्जनयन् हर्षं, कुरुवृद्ध​: पितामाह​:।
सिंहनादं विनद्य उच्चै, शङ्खं दध्मौ प्र्तापवान्॥12||

**तत: शङ्खाश्च भेर्यश्च पणवानकगोमुखा: |
सहसैवाभ्यहन्यन्त स शब्दस्तुमुलोऽभवत् || 13||
tataḥ śaṅkhāśca bheryaśca paṇavānaka-gomukhāḥ
sahasaivābhyahanyanta sa śabdastumulo ’bhavat

तत​: शङ्खा: च भेर्य​: च, पणवानक गोमुखा:।
सहसा एव अभ्यहन्यन्त​, स​: शब्द​: तुमुल: अभवत्॥13||

* तस्य [his-Duryodhan] सञ्जनयन् [causing/उतपन्न करना] हर्षं [incredible joy], कुरुवृद्ध​: [the old man of Kuru dynasty-Bheeshma] पितामाह​: [grandfather]।
सिंहनादं [lion's roar] विनद्य [sounding] उच्चै [very loudly], शङ्खं [the conch shell] दध्मौ [blew] प्र्तापवान् [glorious, here referring to Bheeshma] ॥12||

At that moment, in order to enthuse Duryodhan, the great powerful elder of the Kuru dynasty- Pitamah Bheeshma blew his conch shell, making a loud noise that resembled a lion's roar.

सहसा [suddenly] एव [just so] अभ्यहन्यन्त [were sounded]​, स​: [that] शब्द​: [sound] तुमुल: [overwhelming] अभवत् [was]॥13||

Suddenly just so thereafter (immediately following that), conches, kettledrums, bugles, trumpets, and horns blared forth(were sounded), and their combined sound was overwhelming.
