- cold knocked on a door and raised $800k without customers and a one page business plan for a new idea and executed
- at the time knew nothing about what I was doing, just stupidly passionate
- didn’t realize that money is everywhere for great ideas
- Scaled and exited a couple of small businesses thanks to the investment and the fumbled strategies in place - figured it out as I went
- Did 1m in sales (service industry) in 9 months with 1 employee for valuation to raise capital
- Latest venture: a small travel and outdoor adventure company
- Pioneer in exporting Australian Outdoor Education to Asia (pre-covid)

Other causes:
- 20,000 young people are homeless in Australia. We need to fix this. Change the mindset of a young person, change their world.
- Climate change. We have a responsibility to give back to the communities in which we conduct business and to leave a positive legacy for the environment and society.
- Social Responsibility. We have the ability to give all people the fundamental tools that spark ideas for social responsibility, creativity and innovation to bring about positive change and care-factor for the planet.
