Raised in Detroit, Michigan, in an entrepreneurial environment, I was able to see first-hand what business ownership looked like and more importantly, how having and leveraging credit could create positive cash flow. I experienced my own ups and downs with collections, bankruptcy, foreclosure and multiple repossessions, which led to severely damaged credit. Never one to give up, I started my journey to learn about credit and how to improve my scores.
