ANKIT KAPOOR:
Appropriately qualified, highly motivated, committed, with courage of conviction and strong determination for social change of Development professional of Indian national offering more than 15 years of rich experience both at grass root level and management in development sector particularly in disability. Receiving Punjab state award for social security women and child welfare health and family welfare Punjab. Ankit Kapoor is a self-motivated has good communication skills and ability to work well under any situation in special circumstances.
Journey about Ankit Kapoor till date:
He was born in the year 10th Dec, 1983, and he is from Punjab. He is visually impaired by birth. His highest qualification is MA in History passed in the year 2008. He has completed 10th class in 2001 and 12th in 2003 and he is the only topper of Punjab among the blind students. He has done BA in 2006 and MA history in 2008. He has competed “Sangeet Vishard” degree in 2012.He is working as a music teacher in Education Department Punjab.
He started his journey towards social work at the age of 18years. He is aspiring to achieve professional excellence and potential career to make significant changes in his lives and situations. His strong urge is to accept challenges and explore innovative, creative, and alternative solutions.

NGO called "Visually Impaired Sports and Welfare Association" for the Blind was founded in 2003 by Ankit Kapoor; it was especially for Visual Challenged people. Wherein people with Visual Impaired should be provided with necessary thing which they can use in their daily life like in providing related equipments like Braille slates, sticks and styluses, Braille watches / Talking watches, along with these arranging scholarships for Visual Impaired people. Ankit Kapoor has done organized awareness camps for the students who are visually challenged to get employment opportunities and also referred many other such persons to different blind institutes for education purposes. He has even arranged competitions for Braille Reading & Writing, debates, singing, and quizzes.
