This group was created to bring awareness to sickle cell trait. A lot of people, including medical professionals, believe this is benign but that it not a true statement. There are people with sickle cell trait who have suffered from many different health issues throughout their life. If not aware, carriers can overexert their bodies which can lead to death. Please join me as I spread the word and continue to advocate for those with sickle cell trait.
